   Today is a beautiful milestone for me. I completed a 90-day Bible challenge today! I have ALWAYS wanted to read the bible front to back but I’ve never disciplined myself enough to do so. I often will begin and in the moment I NEED something, I skip to a scripture that I KNOW will feed that ‘perceived need’.   It took the 88 days (I didn’t use the 2allotted grace days) of reading the Bible in this disciplined manner to realize that EVERYTHING that is written in HIS WORD is written to FEED. No matter what scripture you read, expect it to feed your soul for that is, its purpose.   Some days were harder to complete than others but once the goal is accomplished the harder days seem so foreign.   I’m one of those people where if I write it down, than Its mandatory and that’s now how I regard the word of GOD. I think it’s safe to say women are problem solvers. Personally, I often have to SHUT UP when someone is talking to me and REALLY LISTEN to determine if they are telling me the story to simply get it off their chest or if they are seeking some sort of resolve from telling me and hearing my opinion.   I almost always want to HELP. So in wanting to ‘help’ I’m always offering something.   Similarly, I always want to understand. Which then makes sense because we seek to 'understand' because it's the first step to solving the 'problem'. In high school, I wanted to attend UCLA to study forensic science. Not the crime scene forensics but the criminal mind. I don’t know, but I’m fascinated, and always have been, with whether or not it can be determined through talking to a serial killer, if something caused them to ‘snap’, for lack of a better word, or if there was always something that would elude to the potential that, they could one day become a ser...

I’ve definitely reached the age of TRANSITION! And dear friends you have as well. Within one weeks time I have spoken to friends who are all at very beautiful, yet very different, self defining places in their lives. I just want to say, THERE IS SO MUCH BEAUTY IN NOW! I am guilty of always working, towards. So much so that I don’t enjoy the beauty of what I’m in the midst of today. EVERYTHING has it’s order. For years one of my biggest pet peeves was hearing people say “I’m building a house from the ground up” I just felt the statement was redundant. However in this moment to every one of my friends reading this, please consider you are a house (yes, some of you can be a brick house, lol)   and you are building from the ground up. Hey Guys, I started shooting again and my first shoot was with  MYOH PHOTOGRAPHY  I had really strict marching orders from my agent so the shoot was definitive, FAST, deliberate, efficient, did I say fast? No really, I think we were done in 36min and we shot about 4 looks.  I shot w/ the wife of this married couple photo tag team and it was truly a pleasure. It took several years to realize why friendships or relationships don’t last or seem to suddenly no longer fit. Going forward I’ll use friendships as an interchangeable reference to relationships as well.   More often than not you hear “We have so much in common” Having something in common encourages an instant attraction or bond between two people. However, having things in common can have an expiration date. What if, suddenly you no longer like the thing that bonded you two in the first place? Or what if you realize yes we have the same career aspirations, yes we know some of the same people, yes we want similar end results but the manner in which one person is willing to go about achieving it, is enough to mask the common interest all together. I believe Friendships must be established upon a mutual respect, morals and work ethic.  I Just realized I missed my CALIVERSARY :-(  If u know me, u know I make everything a 'versary' reason being... I like to honor my obedience. The moment when God convicted my spirit to MOVE & I chose 2 follow him. Whether that instruction was for me to physically move from one state to another, to Love when I didn’t want to or know how, to   leave a job, to apologize when I felt justified in my ‘wrongness’ or to push the glass back off the edge of the table. I moved to California 6years ago on Feb 3.   It took me 4.5 yrs to do what GOD sent me here to do. I’m on such a great assignment that I get bogged down and forget that the Hollywood sign is 5miles away, That years ago this was just a dream, that I’m living a dream that I fought for so long because it didn’t make sense.
