I'm Building a House

I’ve definitely reached the age of TRANSITION! And dear friends you have as well. Within one weeks time I have spoken to friends who are all at very beautiful, yet very different, self defining places in their lives. I just want to say, THERE IS SO MUCH BEAUTY IN NOW!

I am guilty of always working, towards. So much so that I don’t enjoy the beauty of what I’m in the midst of today. EVERYTHING has it’s order. For years one of my biggest pet peeves was hearing people say “I’m building a house from the ground up” I just felt the statement was redundant. However in this moment to every one of my friends reading this, please consider you are a house (yes, some of you can be a brick house, lol)  and you are building from the ground up. Understand that THIS MOMENT IS NECESSARY FOR THE VISION THAT IS TO COME!

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:3

Now if we KNOW that what HE has shown us will SURELY COME, our only job is to wake everyday to brick lay. All your doing is laying bricks, not trying to build a house, just laying the bricks. Your bricks may be, reading his word daily, stop cursing, give to the less fortunate, volunteer at the shelter, offer advice, have Faith and Not fear, I don’t know something that will give you a firm foundation for the house you will look up and BE!

I heard somewhere ‘the house didn’t fall because the storm came, it fell because it wasn’t built on the rite foundation’

THE VISION is for an APPOINTED TIME, you can’t rush it. Just trust it. Thank God for these moments of preparation for it’s enabling you to build a strong foundation.

To everything there is a season, if you're transitioning read Ecclesiastes 3

Thanks for reading, Be blessed!
