Hi Guys,  Check out the below screen grab from a hair ad I shot back in September 10'. I never received images from this shoot and a friend from high school was on the Internet and saw this ad. Needless to say this was such a pleasant surprise. I had so much faith in that photo shoot because we shot with such an amazing studio. I remember like yesterday, this was the first shoot I had after quitting my full time job. Maybe that's why it turned out so good. I was HAPPY! lol... I could not be more excited about my theatrical debut here in Los Angeles. This Mothers Day weekend come out to see me at Stage 52 in the Darryl James production  We have a dynamic cast and we were blessed with an "Actors Director" in Darryl James. Darryl allowed US to bring each character to life. He has been nothing short of supportive and encouraging in giving us this beautiful story to connect and mold however we saw fit. Through Our rehearsal process we've seen each other develop and evolve into these characters and relationships and I can't wait for you guys to see this piece on stage.   Love In A Day this Mothers Day Weekend!!! I'm starting to realize that the best experiences always have a beautiful story behind them and my experience with Elizabeth Laine handbags is no different. I'm leaving church a beautiful sunday morning after sowing a seed that was pretty "ambitious" for the inconsistant $ I make, as a fulltime actress/model, nonetheless I acted on faith and wrote the check. No sooner than I turned on my phone as I approached my car on the church parking lot I read an email from a handbag designer. The designer had seen my portfolio and was interested in me representing her new 2011 look book and online store. Basically, exactly the amount I sowed in church is what she offered to pay me for this 3hour shoot.. BUT GOD! (isn't he amazing) The shoot was scheduled about 4weeks out and her communication was professional, consistent and we were all set to go.  When creating this blog I really wanted it to be an outlet for my work.. For completed projects, projects in progress and for the aspirations that I have that I don't feel I've had the opportunity to display yet. Well, I am literally feening to book a commercial. I mean really aren't you guys craving to see me in the next McDonald's or Target commercial.. *crickets* lol.. well, to hold you over ;-) I tapped an eye contact commercial, yup in my trusty studio bedroom, lol.. The below video is a PSA for Danielsplace.org. I shot this almost a year ago and I was so excited to get a link to the video, that I blogged about it immediately.. It will be airing in LA... so for those of you not in LA, here ya go,lol.. I remember shooting this PSA. It was on a day off when I was working full time and I worked all day on a set and lets just say i took a pay cut that day from my normal job,lol. Yet, i remember telling E, how tired I was but, how happy that day made me feel. I was in my element and able to soak up so much from an amazing crew. It was where I was introduced to "WOMEN IN FILM" and I was so inspired by the nearly all female cast and crew. Well here it is how do you feel about my hair, HAAA.. While washing my face last night I got excited! Literally, God’s plan just smacked me in the face. No, I don’t have his plan figured out but I was able to draw a parallel. As I walk this ‘faith based life’ I am constantly drawing parallels. That’s it!
