I'M HITTING THE STAGE IN LA


I could not be more excited about my theatrical debut here in Los Angeles. This Mothers Day weekend come out to see me at Stage 52 in the Darryl James production 


We have a dynamic cast and we were blessed with an "Actors Director" in Darryl James. Darryl allowed US to bring each character to life. He has been nothing short of supportive and encouraging in giving us this beautiful story to connect and mold however we saw fit. Through Our rehearsal process we've seen each other develop and evolve into these characters and relationships and I can't wait for you guys to see this piece on stage.

Video 1 or Video 2 or neither one

Ok So this is the meat and potatoes of why I created Nikiva Dionne please add sugar.. The video sharing. I hope this works out because, I am totally still on training wheels with this blog thing. ANYWOOooh Today I took an extremely drastic step towards my dreams. I quit my job. I know, long story I'm not into detail sharing rite now. But, needless to say. I came home and I have been on my computer working for 6 hours straight. Every time I want to stop, i remember i don't have a job, and I keep going,lol.. But on my to do list for tomorrow was to work on my relatively new monologue tonight and be prepared to post the video tomorrow. Well, overly ambitious and feeling the burden of no definitive pay check, i started taping tonight. Only, this is uncut!!! No seriously, wife beater, hair pinned up, no make up uncut. I took some L's but I wear em Well

Sometimes you have to lose in order to win . I am fighting every part of myself to not use a basketball analogy to shape the entire structure of this blog. I don’t wanna run the risk of losing all of my anti L AKER followers, lol.. So I’m making a conscious effort to get this message across without relating it directly to the NBA. :-) However the same premise applies in Life and Basketball ohh and Love,ha (great movie BTW) If I consider the things I Lost this year and the things I Won it becomes sooo obvious.                                                I had to lose in order to win.
