We all remember and have mocked that line from the 90’s Sprite commercial. I used wiki how for the term ‘Self Motivated’ and I found the most amazing step by step HOW TO BE SELF MOTIVATED TOOLS. As I skimmed each tool I was able to recognize   a few things. 1.      How valuable the information is 2.      That I personally am not the consumer, as I tend to be a consistently self motivated person 3.      How little value I personally put on things that come naturally to me 4.      How people become successful through maximizing their strengths to aid the opportunities of others. If you know me, you know I’m a really big vision boarder. I update my vision board all year as I achieve the goals. Well this past couple weeks I kept getting agitated because I realized I wasn’t accomplishing the goals on my vision board. So much so that several times per day I was stopping & saying ‘NO what can I be doing to accomplish this stuff’. Well you know the bible verse that says   2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:2-3 Well I had the ‘write the vision’ part down but I clearly had set my own ‘time’ on it. The past few weeks I’ve been obsessed w/ the song SMILE by Tasha Cobbs but it wasn’t until this moment that I realized why God has placed this song in my spirit. In living and simply speaking to others about life & relationship I realize how threatened we are by the potential of being hurt. At the first sign of ‘potential hurt’ we go into ‘protect me’ mode. You know God just cant trust us w/ too much information because we assume the responsibility of protecting what HE gave us. So we FIGHT! Hi Friends, I learned last week that a beautiful, talented women that I had the pleasure of costarring in a play w/ was recently diagnosed with Cancer.   First thing I did was pray and the next thing I did was reach out to Tarsha to simply be ANOTHER reminder of How faithful God is. God told me Tarsha will beat Cancer and he also told me that this diagnoses gave her PURPOSE. It made everything more urgent, each day more special and that her impact is now imperative. I want to introduce you guys to Singer/Actress Tarsha Rodgers and give you guys an opportunity to pray for her and her family, support her music and her new purpose in the Revlon Walk for breast Cancer. This life is not about us. It’s about effecting people and during such a brief time working w/ Tarsha she effected me. It’s my Caliversary!  California is everything you would imagine if you’ve never been here and it’s all because of the people who think they have to be a certain way now that they are here, lol. The people that have real money are the most modest, the people that are creating a buzz are the most arrogant, the people with nothing going on are the busiest and the people who are always networking are hardly ever really working.   And the message God keeps giving me is, FALL IN LOVE WITH NOW! Few things hurt worst than someone you love telling you, what you are NOT. Ineffective communication can ruin a relationship. So do u...  1) Opt out of sharing your feelings because you don’t want to risk losing the relationship.   or do you say 2)The relationship is flawed and unproductive if I can't assume the responsibility of being honest with the other person. I’m both of those people. I think we all are.
